Main Engineering - Deck 7 - Highlights

Main Engineering Monitor Room: the primary control center of the power generation and drive systems that also can serve as the ship's Auxiliary Bridge, this compartment communicates directly with the conventional corridors on Deck 7 while providing direct access to the Flank Stations and a centerline catwalk between with two rows of pulsating Cores, and can be physically isolated from the engine room proper with massive blast doors.

Flank Stations and Intermix Cores: each core is an ejectable, compact unit, parallel matter and antimatter columns fed from below, their "intermix" chambers and tributary plasma power-taps at the top of each unit. The outboard stations that flank each bank of the Intermix Core system is analogous to the singular Main Engineering compartment on most Starships due to the complexity of a system. In contrast, the conventional warp drive could be powered to reasonable performance by any one pair of the Cores alone.

Docking Port: this airlock provides direct docking access to the compartment for either small inspection craft or a docking gantry, and is flanked by the Fuel Processing Manifold aka the "Pipe Rooms".

Life Boat Access: the ship's escape pods have been included to present gameplay possibilities for staging crisis scenarios.
